Developing Leadership

We help people who are on the cusp of great leadership challenges. We focus on the critical skills that complement the analytical and cognitive side of leadership: building self-awareness, developing reflective practice, embracing new thinking and shifting patterns of behaviour.

The aim is to build people’s resilience in relation to their everyday reality – how to continually stay open-minded, self-aware, where to look for ideas, how to notice patterns of behaviour within yourself and how to recognise characteristics that limit performance.

Unilever – Unleashed

The three month programme was developed for 30 emerging leaders and delivered on a modular basis involving a range of outstanding creative practitioners.

It looked at important leadership challenges around self-awareness and reflection, managing your own energy, emotional intelligence, risk and failure, and the development of ideas. After Unilever ran the programme twice it was taken up by the Arts Council’s Cultural Leadership Programme.

London School of Economics

Over the last two years we have worked with several departments across the School helping teams to embrace new thinking, shift patterns of behaviour, open up new perspectives and tackle some important questions, all in order to provide improved services for staff and students. This is leadership from within - ideas and plans being owned by the department rather than just ‘the management’.

New Media Worlds

Teams know about the changes happening around them, they just don’t readily and speedily engage with them for several reasons (time being one). We have taken the media team on a number of journeys, most recently creating virtual events using YouTube style films, discussion boards, wikis, voting sites, skype etc. We have given people the opportunity to create and edit films of their own in 12 hours using just their mobile phones. We have mashed up the best of the web’s wisdom and given them the insights they need.
