Creamer and Lloyd

What inspires us

Everything we experience forms a part of who we are and what we do and therefore what we offer.  We rely heavily on the arts to inspire us and this is critical to us as individuals as well as a business.

Everyone at Creamer and Lloyd has their own budget for research and inspiration.  On a regular basis we share on our website the best experiences we’ve had.

  1. Late afternoon in the Sagrada Familia

Just as the sun set and the tourists buses departed, we had this vast building to ourselves. The heavily ornamented spires with their constant guard of cranes hide a stunning space of soaring gilded ceilings and coloured glass.

  2. Love Story at Duchess Theatre, London

A case where the baggage (the film, the stars, the book, THAT tune) simply disperses as you are drawn into the story afresh. Beautifully written, directed and sung.

  3. Norman Rockwell at Dulwich Picture Gallery

He paints faces beautifully, finding seldom seen angles - twisted up, looking down, the merest outline, from the top of the head. Just the poses themselves remind you of some religious settings.

  4. Federation Coffee, Brixton Market

At last, an amazing coffee shop in South London! In a beautiful unpretentious little venue in the middle of the market, they serve cup after perfect cup accompanied by homemade cakes and the best savory muffins I have ever tried.

  5. The Unthanks at Union Chapel

Perfect venue and a perfect concert. You know it's good when it makes you go out and buy the complete back catalogue of Robert Wyatt!
