Creamer and Lloyd

What inspires us

Everything we experience forms a part of who we are and what we do and therefore what we offer.  We rely heavily on the arts to inspire us and this is critical to us as individuals as well as a business.

Everyone at Creamer and Lloyd has their own budget for research and inspiration.  On a regular basis we share on our website the best experiences we’ve had.

  1. Animal, Vegetable, Miracle - Babara Kingsolver

Documenting her family’s year living off the land this is a beautifully written exploration of our relationship with food and our environment, with factual excerpts from her husband and recipes from her daughter.

  2. Can we talk about this? DV8

A breathtaking piece of 'documentary-style dance theatre' dealing with the ideas of religion, censorship and freedom. Stunning to watch, this made me question my own fear of discussing the controversial elements of life.

  3. Simon Low and Jeff Phenix's yoga retreat at Samahita, Thailand

Having the opportunity to spend a week dedicated to practicing with two incredible teachers on a tropical beach was glorious. In this deadline driven world, to take some time out to focus on the simple act of the breath was transformative.

  4. Rhime at the Mirror Tent, Square Peg

A contemporary circus' take on The Ancient Mariner -in the beautiful and intimate surroundings of the mirror tent. Using their bodies and voices backed by an amazing soundtrack, the troupe climbed, balanced, tumbled and flew to bring the story to life.
