Arts & Organisations
Originating with patronage and sponsorship,
the long-standing relationship between business and the arts
is now evolving into a dialogue around learning, insights, innovation
and the confidence and capability to be creative.
The arts have these qualities in abundance and
smart organisations are looking to the arts to differentiate
their learning and development, innovation and cultural change
programmes.
We met and first collaborated at Unilever in
1999 whilst Alastair was creating and running the Catalyst programme
for 7 years. In 2006 Creamer and Lloyd was founded in order
to expand the breadth and impact of our work. We aim to be pioneers
in our field and develop the boundaries of world-class practice
between the arts and organisations.
We are a
small business that tailors its work to every challenge. Our
backgrounds in arts, business, not-for-profit and education
reflect the sectors we work across. Everything we do informs
what we do next.

A cultural change programme that brought artists into Unilever UK
to address challenges around creative skills, values, leadership
training, innovation and working environments.
“Unilever's
Project Catalyst is the most strategic, long term and encompassing
example of Arts-in-Business I have come across in my research.
Strategic because Catalyst was conceived as part of an imperative
strategic shift at Unilever."
