I was trained as an art historian at Bristol University and The Courtauld Institute, but decided to begin my career as a marketer at Unilever. In the UK I worked on Persil, Surf and Jif (which I migrated to Cif). It was during that time that I met Alastair and we worked together on key aspects of Catalyst not least being the guiding lights behind the development of one of the finest art collections of British 20th Century work.  I moved to the US to work with some of the world’s largest retailers and Dove and Axe before moving to Asia to lead a regional innovation team on Lux (and expand my knowledge of spicy food). Finally, I worked at What If Innovation before leaving in 2006 to found Creamer and Lloyd.

I spend my spare moments trying to cook like a one star chef, learning how to take better photos with my wife (who is a film-maker and photographer) and searching out the most obscure and inspiring cultural events.
